Employee Directory

Employee Directory is a fully customizable Add-ins for SharePoint. Employee details is a key feature of any Intranet solution, most of the application if not all, use Employee Directory as key component to build base of other applications. Employee Directory will display the list of employees of the organisation and considered as mandatory feature in an Intranet. SharePoint is used at the backend to store and easy to manage the list of employees with full personal and professional details. This will help HR to manage the resources in day to day basis.

It also has additional features of filters based on employee’s name, location and their departments. This can be utilized as a catalyst for all applications running in the organisation.

News and Announcements

OOB News and Announcement feature of SharePoint is not used as it provides basic functionality. Cubic’s News app comes with three different variants. Organisation can use these variants on need basis. News app generally can be used for announcing the important events, Corporate news with banner and Flash updates to be displayed in home page. Latest items in the list will display in the app. Number of items are to be displayed are configurable. This app is also considered as a must feature in Intranet.

Banner Transitions & Image Sliders

The Banner transition or rotation App rotates the image files contained in the specified SharePoint Picture Library using smooth transitions between the images. This App can be used with Office 365 SharePoint 2016 & SharePoint 2013.

The following parameters can be configured:

  • SharePoint Picture Library containing the pictures
  • optional Library Folder containing the images
  • Transparent Text area (can be freely positioned)
  • Rotate banners, show a new banner every day or on every page refresh.

Image slider is another featured app with a group of small images will be rotating in the page. An absolutely fit for introducing the Team members / Global heads of the organisation. Image slider is also used for product launches & showing various pictures of product or different projects.

Forms

One of the basic feature of the App is, allows user to write and submit suggestions / feedback / input through a form. User inputs will store as items in app and admins will be able to view the data in list format. It can be utilized in portals such Intranet, DMS, Sales etc. Further the same data can be used for analysis purpose to find certain behaviours or other similar attributes.

Standard validations are applied to the form and properties are configurable in app part.
